Abstract

On 3 October 2020, the outstanding Russian philologist and literary critic Boris Fedorovich Egorov died at the age of 95. He was a great specialist in philological studies, Professor, Honorary Professor of the University of Saratov, a member of the Writers' Union of the USSR (since 1982), the Writers' Union of St. Petersburg (since 1992) and the World Writers' Association International PEN Club (since 2003).
