Online Technologies of Civic Participation: Positive and Negative Aspects of E-Democracy

Abstract

The article analyzes the characteristics of the use of e-mechanisms of civic participation. The author provides the following opposition: rationale of cyberspace opportunities and refutation of mobilizing resource of the Internet. The author considers practices and projects of online participation in Ukraine. The summary features advantages and disadvantages of introducing edemocracy.
