The article reveals the importance of game therapy in the development of emotional decentration of inclusive groups of children. It is emphasized that emotional decentration, as an important integral quality of personality, in preschool-age is expressed in the ability to understand feelings, thoughts, and social position of peers and adults. The main task of developing emotional decentration of children with special educational needs through play therapy is the need to help the child in self-awareness, understanding his/her dignity and problematic aspects, personal difficulties and achievements, and other people. The use of game therapy in the inclusive preschool educational space helps to establish communication between children with special educational needs and their peers, adults and promotes the harmonization of their social relationships and thus ensuring the formation of emotional decentration.
