PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION OF PHYSICAL CULTURAL TERMINOLOGY AND ITS PUBLICATION IN BUKOVINA PRESS (END OF XIX – EARLY XX CENTURY)

Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of the formation of sports terminology and its publication in the press of Bukovina (late nineteenth – early twentieth century.). Given the fact that the German language was declared the state language, we attest to the fact that German terminology is used in determining the basic provisions of physical education. The authors emphasized that physical education and sports have a history of development and functioning of the terminological apparatus, singled out the factors of development of physical culture and sports terminology (formation of physical education in Europe during the XIX century; legislative separation of the subject "Gymnastics" ("turn") in education, active activities of public societies, organizational design of certain sports. characterize sports, team terms, etc.
