Abstract

In the article, the author reviews the world rankings QS World University Rankings, THE World University Rankings and national rankings Top-200 Ukraine, VNO score per contract, the consolidated rating of the educational resource "Osvita.ua", based on the indicators of the most influential national ratings "Top 200 of Ukraine ”and“ Ball EIT for the contract ”and the international rating“ Scopus ”. After analyzing the above ratings, the leaders were found among the higher educational institutions of Ukraine. To clarify the advantages and disadvantages of competing universities, the researcher developed maps-perceptions for the place in the QS ranking and indicators "the number of foreign scientific and pedagogical workers" and "the number of students and the ratio of the faculty of the university and the number of students" of the global indicator "quality of academic university staff.
