Abstract

This article highlights the issue of prostitution during the First World War along the front-line territory. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of the spread of prostitution in the front-line region. Attention was drawn to the problems faced by women in this profession, and the massive spread of prostitution was revealed. Attempts to control spontaneous prostitution by local authorities play an important role. The study examines the situation of prostitutes in the front-line region, and draws attention to the widespread spread of prostitution and venereal diseases. It turned out that no one controls prostitution, especially in the front-line zone. An important topic of the article is highlighting the situation of prostitutes in cities. The role of prostitution in the front-line life of soldiers is determined. As a result, it was established that thanks to the large number of soldiers in the free territories, there was a large number of prostitutes. Due to the spread of prostitution, the number of venereal diseases has increased. In general, the topic of the article is very interesting and needs further study.
