Abstract

The article, which is a welcome word to the participants of the online All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conference «VIII Sultanivski Chytannia. Actualisation of literary problems against the backdrop of current civilizational challenges. To the centenary of the birth of Doctor of Philology, professor Marko Teplinsky (1924–2012)», is devoted to the significance of the figure of Professor M.V. Teplinsky in the history of the university and about the tasks of the  Russian studies in Ukraine in the conditions of Russian aggression.
