Sexual violence by military personnel of the RussianFederation against the civilian population of Ukraine.

Abstract

The article isdevoted to consideration of the problems of sexual violence committed byRussian military personnel against the civilian population of Ukraine in theoccupied territories. Several indicators of criminal offenses of a sexualnature are analyzed.Particular attention was paid to the information of the Prosecutor Generaloffice regarding sexual violence in conflict conditions. In the article, theauthor identifies the reasons for the latency of this category of criminaloffenses. In addition, the author analyzes the determinants of the behaviorof Russian servicemen who commit sexual violence against civilians.
