Consumer Rights Under The Consumer Credit Agreement

Abstract

In this article the author explores the system of consumer rights under the the consumer credit agreement, classifying it into universal which are inherent to all forms of consumer participation in civil-law relations and special which are consumer rights in obtaining consumer credit.

The author analyzes the international legal documents, current legislation of Ukraine and other approaches of researchers to the problem.

In the article the author identified a number of drawbacks in the legal regulation of consumer rights under the consumer credit agreement and submitted proposals for its elimination.
